What we build and repair
Traditional masonry is the heart of it. Around that, the stone and brick jobs that need a mason rather than a general builder.
Traditional masonry walling
Our speciality. Traditional masonry construction for homes, extensions and developments, laid by masons who know the craft.
Stone wall rebuilds
Walls that have gone loose, leaned over or been pushed apart by ivy, taken down and rebuilt sound.
Repointing
House fronts and stonework repointed, with the mess kept to a minimum while we work.
Lime pointing for older buildings
Period stone needs a different approach to modern brick. We lime point older buildings, right back to a 16th century barn.
Wall repairs
Damaged walls put right, so the repair sits with the rest of the wall instead of standing out from it.
Patios and outdoor fireplaces
Patio areas laid, and outdoor fireplaces built from the ground up in the garden.
New homes and developments
Masonry for builders and developers, helping build homes and developments across West Yorkshire.

Period stone doesn't behave like a modern brick wall. Old walls need lime, patience and someone who understands how they were put together in the first place.
That's the work we enjoy most: window surrounds, bays, barns and boundary walls, put right so they look like they've always been that way.

About Jones Masonry
Lee and the team
Jones Masonry is a masonry contracting company from Cleckheaton, working across Bradford and West Yorkshire. We specialise in traditional masonry construction, and we help build homes and developments as well as looking after the walls and stonework people already have.
Lee runs the jobs. He'll explain what needs doing before the work starts and while it's going on, so you always know where things stand. He works alongside a small team of masons, and they're happy to share what they know about the stone as they go.
